Hydroponic System
This accessible dual hydroponic-aeroponic system was designed with a goal of making fresh produce more accessible.
The setup is designed with an efficient, water-saving system that can be built with a limited budget and only easily accessible materials.

Early prototyping included testing different types of setups.
Full System
The waterways of the system are built with off the shelf components. The water is cycled by a bilge pump, and the system is controlled by an a Arduino program to prevent root rot and preserve pump life.
System Diagram
The entire system is tilted at an ideal 5° angle that allows that water to run at a perfect pace through the roots, and back into the reservoir.
